When you think you have found the correct pad, you remove it from the bag. If you have managed to find the second pad with the same contents, you can keep the pair and continue playing. As they have the same color, you can easily identify if you have found the right pair. If the pads removed are different, you have to put them both back in the bag and the turn goes to the next player. The player who gets the highest number of correct pairs wins.
