Foca-se também na disfunção de integração sensorial e na sua relação com as dificuldades no desenvolvimento e aprendizagem. São fornecidas listagens de sintomas de disfunção de integração sensorial por cada faixa etária, bem como os princípios gerais da intervenção da terapia de integração sensorial.
